About Me
I've spent the last six years developing web applications professionally using
ASP.NET and other Microsoft technologies. I have experience with backend database
development using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to 2008 R2, middle tier development using
VB.NET and C#.NET Frameworks 1.1 to 4.0, and front end design utilizing HTML, JavaScript,
AJAX, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and Silverlight 4. I've used reporting tools such as Active
Reports and Crystal Reports, as well as 3rd Party controls from ComponentOne, Telerik,
Infragistics, and DevExpress.
I've also maintained hosting solutions on Windows Servers 2000 to 2008 R2 with IIS
5, 6, 7 and 7.5.
My educational background is in business, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
from the Rochester Institute of Technology,
majoring in Management of Information Systems (MIS) and minoring in Science, Technology
and Environmental Studies (STES). I recently achieved a
Master's degree in IT Project Management from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, and am currently
focused on obtaining a PMP certification.
